Entire wireless network is down and there is no connection?
Rebooting the modem can solve many connection problems quickly and easily.
If your computer is not seeing the wireless network or picking up an
IP address, the network is probably down due to problems with your modem.
This can occur due to power outages and technical problems with your
Internet Service Provider. Follow these steps in order to unplug your modem and router.
- Always turn off and unplug the power cord to the wireless router first.
The power cord outlet is located in the back of the router.

- Secondly, turn off and unplug the power to the back of your modem
- Wait one mintute, then plug-in modem first.
- Wait until the lights for the DSL connection on the front of the modem stop blinking.
- Always plug-in the router after the modem has been rebooted.
- In the last step, restart your computer and connect to the wireless network.
